Policy Brief: Masculinities, Violence Against Women in Leadership & Participation in Transitional Societies: Burundi & Guatemala

On the occasion of the 17th anniversary of UNSCR 1325 on Women, Peace and Security, Impunity Watch, Oxfam Ibis, UNWOMEN and the Permanent Representation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the United Nations convened a side event on masculinities, violence against women in leadership, and their participation in peace and justice within transitional societies. This latest Policy Brief provides a country specific and thematic contribution for the side event aiming to tackling the persistent gap as regards gender norms, men and masculinities in the full implementation of UNSCR 1325.
