With over nine years of experience, Hosni worked on socio-political development with non-governmental organisations as well as governments. Prior to joining Impunity Watch, he was Senior Policy Officer at the Embassy of the Netherlands in Tunisia, where he worked on political and cultural affairs. For three years, he was Program Specialist at the Open Society Foundations working on political and economic development. As the Head of the Tunisia Office with the Foundation for the Future, Hosni managed three programs and a portfolio of over thirty grants, one of which produced the first draft of the Tunisian electoral law of 2014. Before joining the international development sector, Hosni started his career in the tourism industry, where he was Operations Manager. Hosni has a Master’s in English literature. He speaks Arabic, English, and French.
In 2018, Hosni published a book titled Le Royaume des Citoyens presenting a new form of government. He also published several articles on Tunisia’s political transformation.
