The comic book was designed to stimulate dialogue and reflection. It combined research into intergenerational truth-telling and memorialisation with the promotion of youth capacity-building and popular awareness-raising. It was developed by IW and RCN Justice et Démocratie. The book illustrates the obstacles to truth-telling, with each chapter of the story popularizing a different theme related to truth-telling and transitional justice. It forms part of the Once Upon a Time....And Never Again in Burundi project.
