Guatemala, being a country living in post conflict, is experiencing different forms of violence. The high rates of violence against women and sexual violence requires urgent action. The United Nations Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security, exhorts the States to take action through its four basic pillars: prevention, protection, participation and relief and recovery. In Guatemala, 16 years since the adoption of the Resolution, we say 1325 NOW #1325Guateya. Guatemala siendo un país pos conflicto atraviesa distintas formas de violencia, sin embargo los altos índices de violencia en contra de las mujeres y la violencia sexual amerita acciones urgentes. La Resolución 1325 de Naciones Unidas sobre Mujeres, Paz y Seguridad, exhorta los Estados la atención a esta problemática a través de 4 pilares básicos: Prevención, Participación, Protección, y Socorro y Recuperación de mujeres.
