Burundi

We support transitional justice processes in Burundi by working closely with communities, especially women and young people.

Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)

Following decades of violent conflict, we support civil society to implement transitional justice at community and national levels.

Guatemala

In Guatemala, we help fight systemic impunity and strengthen the demands of victims of the civil war, especially women and indigenous people.

Iraq

As Iraq comes to terms with legacies of conflict, we support victims, survivors and civil society to push for truth, justice and reparation.

Syria

We support Syrian victim groups and NGOs in their struggle for truth and justice, especially concerning the search for the country's thousands of missing persons.

Tunisia

In Tunisia, we help fight systemic impunity and strengthen the demands of victims especially women and marginalised groups.

The Western Balkans

In close partnership with local civil society, we aim to ensure that efforts to fight impunity in the region contribute to lasting peace.

“Justice breaks the cycle of violence, restores trust in law and government, and helps build strong communities that are able to stop human rights abuses before they occur.”
