Over 15 years, we have built expanded networks of local partners that we advise from judicial, legal, political, reconciliation and psychosocial perspectives. To strengthen the impact of grassroots initiatives, we bring our partners together at national, regional and international levels.
We do this by convening gatherings, networks and solidarity initiatives. We engage our partners in decisions at every stage, and support them in creating their own agendas – rather doing so on their behalf.
In doing so, we contribute to meaningful access to justice by putting victims’ needs first and help ensure their demands are heard – and acted upon – by decision makers, from national governments to international actors such as the UN. This is essential for sustainable development, as outlined in SDG-17.
Going forward, we aim to deepen our existing collaborations with partners and identify new entry points with other victims’ initiatives and movements.
