This joint bulletin by DPLF, WOLA, FONGI, CIFCA and the International Platform against Impunity gives an analysis of the recent nomination process of candidates for the position of Attorney General and Head of the Public Ministry in Guatemala. The document elaborates on the problems related to the design of the process and gives some suggestions for improvement for the short term and medium term to contribute to strengthening of the justice sector and rule of law in Guatemala. Soon, the organisations will share more details in special reports which could then also be downloaded from this website.
