In order to enrich the Regional Road Map to Peace, a Womens Agenda for Peace and a Youth Agenda for Peace were created to reflect the specific perceptions, needs and priorities of these populations. These are particularly affected by conflict but remain under-represented and require sustained attention. The Womens Agenda for Peace highlights an analysis of gender-sensitive conflict in the Great Lakes Region that explores womens specific experiences and perspectives on the transformation of regional conflicts.
