Sri Lanka erupted into conflict in the late 1980s. The Sri Lankan Government forces and the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) fought and the country suffered waves of displacements and forced disappearances. The war cost the lives of 100,00 people and left thousands unaccounted for.Sri Lankas primary form of TJ has been the LLRC. The implementation of the subsequent National Action Plan has been limited. This is an interview about memorialisation as a form of TJ in Sri Lanka.
